Eric & Lydia Freyeisen, who hail from Venice, Florida, purchased Smoky Falls in May of 2005. They began the renovations and opened a few rooms in late June. As time progressed and more renovations were completed, what was once a dream quickly became a reality.  Many visitors have come through the doors since the doors first opened; many who have returned time and time again. It is the Freyeisens' goal to make your trip to Maggie Valley one to remember, with the cozy cabin feel, the down-home cookin' in the restaurant and the friendly atmosphere. Please let us know how you have enjoyed your meal, your stay and your entire experience here at Smoky Falls Lodge and the Grizzly Grill.
